About the Lesson Plan

The activities in the lesson plan focus on researching and understanding the disease. The case studies feature both student sheets as well as educator sheets. This case study looks at three patients that presented with oral lesions as a response to severe leprosy. The case study also includes discussion questions.

This information includes the history of the disease, clinical information, and epidemiological data. This module provides a comprehensive overview of each disease, which is beneficial for teaching about disease spread and its effects.
