100,498 surveys are included of which 64,576 are Prevalence surveys and 35,902 are Seroprevalence surveys. Charts are designed to allow users to quickly scan and compare surveys according to year, region, setting, study population and other parameters. Linked references are also displayed where available.

Chapters are arranged alphabetically, by disease, and include:

2. Disease synonyms
3. Survey summary: total numbers of surveys for disease
4. Worldwide: Surveys which encompass a group of countries or regions
5. Country: Survey lists by country including details and references

This is one in a series of GIDEON ebooks which explore all individual infectious diseases, drugs, vaccines, outbreaks, surveys and pathogens in every country of the world.
