Additional options help you explore drugs further. What antimicrobial agents are known to exacerbate porphyria? Which interact with Sildenafil? What individual drugs might be effective for a patient found to be infected by Trichostrongylus, Capillaria and Gnathostoma ? To answer this last question, press susceptibility, 'check off' the helminths in question, and click on 'search.' As the resulting screen indicates, either of two drugs might be useful in such a patient.
Similarly, you can access a list of all drugs used for Human Immunodeficiency Virus, and then explore the various features of each.
As in the other modules, the Personal Notes screen in the lower right allows for filing and dissemination of information relevant to each drug.
