The GIDEON Tutorial

INTRODUCTION

This web tutorial will teach you the basics of GIDEON.

Note the four basic modules:

  1. Diagnosis - diagnosis or simulation of a clinical problem.

  2. Epidemiology - how are diseases transmitted, diagnosed, treated; what is their status in any given country, or worldwide.

  3. Therapy - how are drugs and vaccines used; what are their side effects, trade names, testing standards.

  4. Microbiology - identify any bacterium or yeast; or contrast two or more species.
