How to install the GIDEON Update CD

Although GIDEON can be updated from outside of the program, we recommend that you perform the update as follows, so that you can retain your notes:

1. Open your existing GIDEON - click on 'Tools - Update' [upper left of the GIDEON screen]. The following note will appear - click on the 'yes' button. 

The following screen will now appear:

Important note: On this screen, you must indicate the drive containing the update disk - NOT THE LOCATION OF YOUR CURRENT GIDEON PROGRAM [AS DEPICTED IN THIS PICTURE]. As such, use the scroll bars on the right side of these text boxes to chose the disk drive which contains your update disk - in this case, Drive F as depicted below:

Click the 'OK' button to begin the installation process. Following installation, the latest 'Whatsnew' file will automatically appear on your screen. We suggest that you print this out for future reference.
