How to install GIDEON - CD version

Please follow the following steps:

1. Insert CD into drive.
2. Double click on 'My Computer' on your desktop - a screen similar to the following will appear [the actual letter designation of your CD drive may vary]:

3. Now click on the CD Disk Icon - you will see the following screen:

4. Double click on the blue-colored computer screen above the word, 'setup'
5. A number of files will be automatically installed at this point, and the following screen will appear:

6. Most users prefer to install GIDEON into their 'Program Files' folder. If this is acceptable, click once again on the blue computer icon. If you would prefer to install GIDEON into another directory, you may so indicate after clicking the 'Change Directory' button.
7. During the installation process, the following screen may appear one or more times:

We suggest that you click the 'Yes' button, indicating that you would prefer to maintain existing files in your computer rather than have them overwritten by the older GIDEON files.

After your software has been successfully installed, the 'Whatsnew' screen will appear. We suggest that you print a hard copy of this file for future reference [the Whatsnew file is also available from within GIDEON at any time.]

To run GIDEON, click on your Windows Start button, the GIDEON button and the GIDEON icon. You can create a screen icon on you desktop for future rapid access to the program by dragging the GIDEON icon to your desktop.

The first time you enter GIDEON, you will see the following screen. You must accept this disclaimer before proceeding.
