Microbiology – Main

The Microbiology main window comprises three tabs of two columns each. The right columns displays a tab for each of the three sub-modules:

• Lists common laboratory tests and phenotypic characteristics. The tests are divided into three categories: Basic, General, and Fermentation.
• Lists common laboratory tests and phenotypic characteristics.
• Lists common laboratory tests and phenotypic characteristics.Each sub-module has its own set of common laboratory tests and phenotypic characteristics.An information window displays under the three tabs. This window displays a description of each of the above tests as the cursor moves over it.

  The right side of the screen comprises two sections:

• This box lists the selected tests and phenotypic characteristics.
• This box shows the Identification List results indicated by the user selections:

• The buttons on the bottom of the window:
  • Save case.
  • Open case.
  • Eliminates all selected phenotypes from consideration.
  • Prints case.
  • E-mails case.
